Workplace Training


At York Bowman Law, we provide workplace training that is intentional and transformational. Although workplace training is important as a preventive strategy to help avoid the excessive costs of litigation, we do not train to simply avoid potential litigation. We train to improve the workplace.  We provide detailed knowledge of employment law concepts and teach how to use the concepts in a way that transforms the workplace to make it stronger and more inclusive.

 

In addition to our workplace training, we draft workplace policies and procedures and then provide complimentary training on the specific policies.  It is common for employees to simply acknowledge receipt of workplace policies and procedures without ever reading them. It is also common for managers to try to implement policies and procedures they do not understand. Both scenarios can cause confusion that can lead to unnecessary lawsuits simply because the employees and managers failed to read and understand the policies.
